"NOW Faith..."

We have embarked on our 60th year and it is with great pride and honor that I greet you as the new Grand Matron for the State of Illinois. I am excited to continue the legacy started by the Grand Matrons before me. I am even more excited because I joined the organization during its 50th year.

Our focus this year is to revive the spirit of the organization, restructure how we operate within the organization and how we handle our business, work to retain our current members, and recruit for the future of this organization.

With a Spirit led vision, energy and determination, the Sisterhood is poised to make a profound impact on society by continuing our charitable works, by elevating the quality of life of its members and those with whom we come in contact.

Our theme this year comes from my life scripture:"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen." (Hebrews 11:1) I invite you to share in this scripture with me as it helps to guide us throughout the next phase of our journey.
